Originating from Iceland, Michael has spent the past 18 years enriching his appreciation of Tasmanian timbers. His knowledge of resource and production stems from building, carpentry and joinery, employment with Forestry Tasmania as plantation monitor, to running a timber yard and being a successful timber merchant.
As a wood craftsman, he restored furniture and made functional home items before turning his talents to wood design, and completing a Diploma of Fine Arts in Furniture Making in 1998. Michael's business, Forest to Furniture, guarantees you quality and customer satisfaction.
