Carl the layer of linoleum arrived Friday evening to diagnose the linoleum problem in the toilet. We need to remove the linoleum and allow the floor to dry thoroughly for a couple of weeks before a new piece is laid in its place. Carl says the charge is a six-pack of beer.
There's an account of yesterday's housewarming here.
From this point on, these day-notes are merged with my Ephemerides. To go to the week immediately following this, click here. To go to the latest week, click here. Eventually, these notes will be rolled up with much additional material into an electronic book in HTML format. We also intend to create a page about Fran's amazing tools that he invents when need arises. Naturally, the emergence of these projects will be announced on the SturmSoft Home Page.
I'd like to thank the many people who have written to say how much they have enjoyed reading these pages. A special thanks to John Biel for travelling all the way from Canada to help nail the cement sheets to the underside of the floor joists.
